 Job Description


Founded in June 2010, Alliance Freeze Dry Ltd. (“AFD”) is a Canadian-registered manufacturer and trader specialized in the research, design, and development of all types of freeze-dried pet products. We are located in Langley, B.C., with convenient transportation access. Dedicated to creating a healthy lifestyle, AFD advances the Freeze-Dry industry with its unique business model and strong innovation capacity, and are building a global leading the supply chain of freeze-dried products. Currently, our products have spread across North America, and are growing quickly in the pet food market. We now have over 70 employees. Through the efforts of our entire staff, we have built up a complete value chain with 5 subsidiaries:

· Canature Processing Ltd.: The supply chain management company in the pet food group, focusing on “Business”.

· AFD Processing Ltd.: The freeze-dry plant

· Canature Kitchen: The freeze-dry plant

· NaturalPET Innovation Ltd.: The wet meat processing plant

· SuperPET Nutrition Ltd.: The packaging plant

POSITION OVERVIEW

The primary role of this position is to support the development and implementation of the organizational performance management and C&B systems and drive the organization's culture development initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Compensation and Benefits Management

(1) Establish and maintain the organizational C&B system

(2) Preparing the annual salary and welfare plans

(3) Conduct various compensation and benefit programs

(4) Process Salary and welfare report and archive

Goal-oriented Performance Management System

(1) Establish and maintain a goal-oriented performance management system

(2) Work with the management team to conduct the organizational goal decomposition and the individual objectives agreement sign off.

(3) To improve the performance environment and support performance evaluation resources

(4) Organize the month, quarter, and annual performance evaluation and apply the results in further HR-related decision making.

(5) Organize performance management archiving data and create a performance evaluation report.

Group Insurance Plan Management

(1) Annual employee insurance plan, budget, implementation, and evaluation

(2) Insurance premium data archive

(3) Provide daily consulting services to employees regarding insurance and benefits issues.

Organizational Cultural Development

(1) Promote and develop the corporate core value and corporate culture system

(2) Assist and monitor departments to conduct the Progressive Discipline policy and Employee Performance Improvement Plan

Administrative Duties

(1) Organize and translate documents

(2) Other temporary administrative duties

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

· Relevant University/College degree/diploma. Chartered Professional in Human Resources designation (CPHR) an asset but comparable experience and/or education will be considered.

· Minimum 2 years’ experience in human resources administration and/or coordination in BC Canada workplace.

· Up-to-date knowledge of BC employment legislation.

· Professional verbal and written communication skills, both one-on-one and groups.

· Strong people-orientation balanced with an understanding of business needs. Willingness to assist employees with human resources queries and requests.

· Superior time management skills, multi-tasking skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision. Accurate and detail-oriented.

· Experience in a culturally diverse work environment.

· Advanced fluency in Windows/MS Office environment and exposure to HR information systems.

· Capability to work in a team environment with varied departments and diverse personalities. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

· Proficient in both English and Mandarin
