Commercial Construction Project Coordinator
AZUREHR is a Vancouver based recruitment firm offering recruitment solutions in Construction, Mechanical Trades, IT, Services and Health Care Provider Industries.
We currently have one client is looking for a full-time Commercial Construction Project Coordinator at their Surrey office.
Responsibilities
-Update and maintain project electronic files.
-Order materials via electronic PO’s.
-Price and enter handwritten purchase orders from sites.
-Create job change requests, run tracking system for change orders.
-Monitor and report labour costs with Foreman
-LEED reporting and submission documentation for jobs
-Estimates changes as required and enter into job cost system.
-General support for Operations Department
-Time and Task management c/w weekly reporting.
-Attend operations, handover meetings as requested.
Requirements/Qualifications
-Minimum grade 12, strong math achievement (+90%), and/or any of the following:
-BCIT Building Technology Certified
-CADD experience
-Construction Cost Accounting experience
-Architectural or Construction trade experience
-Effective communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills
-Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment
-Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
-Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
-Able to take initiative to get things done and to resolve issues before they become problems
-Proactive
-Well-organized and thorough.
-Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel Adobe Acrobat
-Experience with Microsoft Project (desired not required)
Salary
$52,000.00 to $62,400.00 /year
