Richmond-based Tour Company is looking for 2 drivers: a class 2 one driver to operate a 29-passenger or 39 pax tour bus and a class 4 driver to operate a 24-passenger mini-bus. We are looking for drivers to work about 20 days a month during summer (starting May 2016, summer season is from May-Oct) and about 10 days a month during winter (from Nov-April). Must have a clean abstract, be experienced, and be flexible with schedule. Compensation will be commensurate with experience. Email resume.

Requirements and qualifications include, but are not limited to:

Performing work in a safe manner that conforms to our company's Safe Work procedures, policies, and practices
Minimum 5 years of experience as either a class 1/2 driver or class 4 driver. Preference for experience in the tour industry will be given but experience in the or truck industry or transportation industry will be considered
Be familiar with navigating BC roads (mainly Vancouver City Tour, Whistler and Victoria) and city of Seattle (valid passport is required)
Valid Class 1/2 or Class 4 Driver's License and Driver's Abstract
Duties will include:

Driving tour bus safely with up to 39 or 29 or 24 passengers
Some overnight travel to Victoria, Whistler
Maintain and clean bus on a regular basis
Hardworking person with flexible schedule. During the high season, most weekends need to work.
Daily inspections of the bus to ensure safe working condition
You must also have experience in the hotel industry or similar especially in a customer service oriented environment. You should love travel industry and be a good team member.
Minor maintenance of the bus to keep it in good operating condition
Daily inspections of the bus to ensure safe working condition
The candidate must be good physical shape as the job consists in assisting guests loading and unloading the baggage.

You must also have experience in the hotel industry or similar especially in a customer service oriented environment. You should love travel industry and be a good team member.
