Job Duties

Reconcile accounts
Post journal entries
Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
Prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports
Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
Report to the Director for review and final approval on a regular basis
Qualification

A Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce is required;
Attention to detail and accuracy
Able to multi-task, prioritize, work under pressure, and meet deadlines
Excellent data entry skills
Familiarity with a wide range of financial transactions including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Knowledge of a full range of bookkeeping practices
Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
Working knowledge of relevant computer applications
