Azuma Foods Ltd. is a growing Japanese food manufacturer and is looking for a Production Worker who is energetic, motivated and has a desire to learn and advance together with the company.

Location: Mitchell Island
Shifts: Monday - Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm

Responsibilities:

Packer job duties would include preparing, packing, packaging and labeling of products made on site. Clean up of work site and equipment, transferring of products to different areas of production will also be part of your duties.

Requirements:

Basic English communication skills
If the candidate has warehouse, production, manufacturing, food / restaurant, and/or manual labour experience, then this would be considered an asset
Hardworking, reliable, punctual
Physically fit and able to lift up to 10 kg (22 lbs).
Quick learner and self starter with minimal supervision
Able to work well with others in a fast paced environment with attention to details
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada, able to work some overtime hours here and there

The company provides work uniforms (coveralls, hair nets, sleeves, gloves), hand soap/sanitizer, disposable masks and steel toe boots
